ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – PSCU Financial Services has unveiled a new name and a new brand.
The company said it will drop the “Financial Services” and simply go by PSCU, while at the same time adopting the new brand message, “Forward.” The 35-year-old CUSO, founded as Payment Systems for Credit Unions, said it has streamlined its business operations to create greater efficiencies. In addition, it is introducing a “Credit Union Experience Team” it said will be the “hub of the service model,” and which will “consult with credit unions on product and portfolio growth solutions based on individual needs.”
“The status quo is our enemy. We have redefined our organization in order to better serve the credit union industry and our member-owners,” said CEO Michael Kelly. “This evolution of our company was a necessary part of our lifecycle in order to fully deliver on our promise to be an innovative payments leader that empowers credit unions to compete and prosper.”
Kelly said credit unions have already seen some of the reorganization paying off, including its “Innovation Lab,” which has generated three solutions: a PSCU Service Availability App, a Portfolio Performance Benchmarking App, and the company’s first mobile wallet solution – PSCU’s Mobile Container.
PSCU has 680 member credit unions.
