HOUSTON – Cardtronics has broken into the Puerto Rico market with agreements with credit unions to manage their ATM operations.
Cardtronics now provides turnkey ATM managed services to Cooperativa San Rafael, GerenCoop and PuebloCoop. ATM management services from Cardtronics include ATM placement, transaction processing, cash management, customer service, maintenance and more.
The company said the management contracts gives the three credit unions flexibility to expand their ATM fleet without a capital investment, reduce expenditures around vault cash services, to increase their brands’ visibility and widen the availability of surcharge-free cash access to their members.
