PLYMOUTH, Mich. - (11/24/04) -- A lucky member of Isabella CommunityCU opted for the $20,000 cash prize, instead of a new PT Cruiser,after drawing the winning ticket in the Michigan CU League's annualpolitical fundraising raffle last week. This year's raffle raised anew high of $100,225 for the league's political action committee,which provides funds for campaign contributions to congressionalcandidates. The league sold 20,045 raffle tickets through 123credit unions. The previous high generated from the raffle was$90,550 raised in 2002.
