LIVE OAK, TexasÈÎ - (01/31/06) -- Randolph-Brooks FCU here may havebecome the only credit union in the nation with a freeway exit signin its name. After the $2.5 billion credit union moved itsheadquarters to this San Antonio suburb, and brought 300 jobs withit, the city of Live Oak changed the name of the Point NortheastParkway to Randolph Brooks Parkway. The Texas Department ofTransportation then erected signage along eastbound Loop 1604, nearthe intersection with Interstate 35, that announces 'RandolphBrooks.' The credit union serves 239,000 members.
