LIVE OAK, Texas - (05/25/06) Randolph-Brooks FCU announced a$100,000 contribution Wednesday to help finance the expansion ofFisher House Foundation, which provides hospice services tofamilies of wounded soldiers receiving extended medical care. The$2.5 billion credit union also challenged the community to raise atleast $200,000 more, which the credit union said it will match. InSan Antonio, there are five Fisher Houses three located atWilford Hall Medical Center and two at Brooke Army Medical Center.Two more houses are under construction at Brooke Army and areexpected to open in January 2007 in conjunction with a newrehabilitation hospital.
