BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Polish & Slavic FCU celebrated its 35 anniversary by rewarding its most loyal members a variety of prizes – ranging from a new Ford Escape SUV to flat screen HD televisions.
Members were enrolled automatically in the 35th Anniversary Grand Prize Drawing when reaching certain membership benchmarks, or when using various credit union products or services throughout the year. Those who were not automatically enrolled in the contest could enter at local branches or online, the credit union said.
A total of 35 prizes were handed out during the credit union’s anniversary celebration at the Brooklyn gallery of the Polish and Slavic Center, one of the original sponsors of the $1.5-billion credit union.
The prizes included 46-inch Sony HDTV sets, Dell laptop computers, Apple iPad 2s, Sony HD camcorders and Sony Blu-Ray Home Theater systems. The grand prize was a 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid SUV.
On hand to help award the prizes were the Polish & Slavic board, members of the Polish and Slavic Center, and Ewa Lewandowska, finalist in the Polish television show Poland’s Got Talent.
