Ripco CU Promotes New CEO

RHINELANDER, Wis. – Ripco CU said Jon Tulgren, its longtime president and CEO, is retiring after 27 years heading the $72 million credit union.

Ripco has named Lisa Edinger, executive vice president since 2005, as successor to Tulgren, who spent a total of 35 years with Ripco.

The credit union had a tough 2009, with an $890,000 loss, after a $220,000 net for 2008.
