SAN DIEGO - (11/05/04) -- Police staked out a San Diego CountyCU branch here Wednesday afternoon after a woman who robbed GreatAmerican CU in nearby Poway asked a teller for directions to thesecond credit union. The robber made off with $3,000 from GreatAmerican CU after passing the teller a note demanding cash andasking for directions to the San Diego County CU branch, policesaid. Police searched the area around the Great American CU butwere unable to locate the bandit.
