REXBURG, Idaho – A man armed with an assault rifle forced employees of East Idaho CU into the vault, then proceeded to clean out the cash before escaping in a dark blue sedan Wednesday afternoon just before closing.
Employees were able to trigger an alarm.
There were some members inside the credit union at the time, police said.
