HAMPTON ROADS, Va. – A man who was addicted to crack cocaine and OxyContin confessed Tuesday to robbing three credit unions and one former credit union in a desperate attempt to feed his drug habit.
Arthur Kortland, 55, said he robbed the credit unions out of desperation.
Kortlang, who was sentenced to nine years in prison pleaded guilty to robbing Chartway FCU, Hampton Roads Catholic FCU, CU Service Centers and Bank @tlantec, a former credit union.
