SAN DIEGO – An armed man jumped over the counter at First Future CU, scooped money from the teller drawers and dumped it in a trash can before making his getaway Tuesday afternoon.

The robber jumped the counter, displayed a pistol and demanded money, according to police. He took money from the drawers and put it in one of the credit union's black plastic trash cans.
He escaped in a black Honda Civic, which police found abandoned several blocks away. The car had been reported stolen.
