Robber Leads Chase Across Four Counties,Causes Accident

DUBUQUE, Iowa - (11/15/04) Jerrod Lloyd Wagner, 30, has beencharged with a number of crimes after allegedly robbing River CityCredit Union here after stealing a car, committing the robbery, andthen traveling through four counties and ultimately causing athree-vehicle accident after being chased by police. Afterallegedly stealing the car, witnesses said Wagner handed a note toa teller at RCCU before fleeing and then attempting to run awayfrom the accident before being captured.
