Robber Sends ‘Bomb’ Through Drive-Through

CROSBY, Texas–A man robbed a credit union here by using its drive-through and sending what he said was a bomb to a teller.

The suspect, in a white Chevy Impala, went to the drive-through and sent along a bag that included a device and a note that demanded money.

 

The teller, who told police she thought the device was a bomb, provided an undiclosed amount of cash to the robber. The Harris County Sheriff's Office bomb squad responded and found the device was  not explosive. The man remains at large.
