SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Telco Triad Community CU announced it is closing its Council Bluffs branch because of four robberies and two attempted robberies in the past four years.
Credit union officials said business is off at the 22-year-old branch but the main reason for the closing is the safety of the 1,700 members who use the branch.
Telco Triad is the second credit union this week to close a branch because of robberies, following Scott CU in Illinois.
