Robbers Hit Sharon CU Branch For Third Time

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Sharon CU branch here on Friday was held up by an armed robber for the third time in four months.

The robber entered the branch around 1:30 p.m., and showed a handgun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money about a minute later, according to police.

The branch was robbed on Dec. 6 by a man wearing a ski mask holding a gun by his side in his right hand, according to police. He wore gloves and a dark-colored sweatshirt with a hood over his head.

It was robbed again Feb. 7 by two masked men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and clothing obscuring their faces. One of the men showed a semi-automatic handgun.
