Timothy Osbourne, 50, was charged with armed robbery, according to police, who said the man went into the credit union branch around 9 a.m. brandishing a large knife. He demanded money from the tellers and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

An officer searching the area for the suspect found Osbourne in Congaree State Bank, also on Sunset Boulevard. Osbourne said he was waiting on a taxi, and the officer found stolen cash underneath the man’s shirt.
