SAC FCU Expands To Four Nebraska, Iowa Counties

BELLEVUE, Neb. – SAC FCU, Nebraska’s second-largest credit union, announced the addition of four new counties: Washington and Saunders in Nebraska, Mills and Harrison in Iowa, to its existing field of membership of Douglas, Sarpy and Cass Counties in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County in Iowa.

The $500 million credit union said the four added counties have about 71,000 residents.

SAC said it hopes to have branches in each of the four counties within six to nine months, possibly in retail locations such as supermarkets or retail strip malls at first, with larger offices later.
