SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FCU said yesterday it has opened a new branch opposite the new Toyota truck manufacturing plant, abandoning a plan to operate the branch jointly with Toyota FCU in California. SACU said it has also received permission from NCUA to serve anyone who works at Toyota, at one of the company’s on-site suppliers, or who live or work near the truck assembly plant. It is the 18th full-service branch for the $2 billion credit union.
