Sallie Mae Introduces NewLoans

RESTON, Va. - (04/07/06) -- Sallie Mae, the dominant player inthe student loan market, announced Thursday it is offering a newGraduate PLUS loan program for graduate and professional students.Instead of being offered to parents, the new Graduate PLUS loanswill be available for students themselves. The loans may qualifyfor interest rates as low as 6.75% and loan balance reductions ashigh as 3%. The Graduate PLUS are aimed at complimenting thefederal Stafford loan options already available to graduatestudents.
