SAN ANTONIO – Generations FCU celebrated the grand opening of five new branches inside H-E-B Grocery Stores Tuesday.
The new in-store locations, all full-service and open six days a week, give Generations 14 branches in the city and across Bexar County.
“Our staff came together and opened five new branches in 62 days. It’s a monumental task by any standard, and we really wanted to take this opportunity to recognize all the hard work and dedication that went into making this relationship with H-E-B a reality,” said Tim Haegelin, president of the one-time city employees credit union which now serves all of Bexar County.
“This relationship with H-E-B is just another way that we as a credit union can reach out into the community every day and live up to that original challenge of our founding members,” said Haegelin.
The new branches are located inside H-E-B stores at IH-10 and Leon Springs; Loop 1604 and U.S. Highway 281; Grissom and Tezel; Loop 1604 and Blanco; and, Loop 1604 and Potranco.
