COLLINSVILLE, Ill. – Scott CU said it plans to break ground early next year on a $12 million, three-story, 51,000-square-foot headquarters in nearby Edwardsville.
The $500 credit union plans to locate its corporate staff and a new computerized processing center at the headquarters, which will be near Interstate 55 and Illinois 143. Plans call for an 18-month construction period.
The credit union said it will build an environmentally friendly structure that will incorporate a geothermal heating and cooling systems as a well as lighting systems that will maximize effective energy usage. The parking lot may also include special spaces for electric cars.
