SEATTLE – With inflation in mind, Seattle Metropolitan CU will be offering–not a penny--but $10 to passers-by today for their thoughts.
In spots being videotaped for the credit union’s YouTube promotion, all the recipients–200 in all–have to do is answer the question, "If we gave you $10, what would you do for someone else?"
The answers will be broadcast on YouTube and at the credit union’s web site www7principles.coop.
The public will vote on the best answer from Oct. 14 through Oct. 19 and the credit union will choose the top seven. The winner will receive $1,000 from the credit union to give to a favorite cause or person highlighted in their video answer.
Seven is an important number for the credit union because it symbolizes Seattle Met’s core principles, including giving back to the community and giving its members a voice in its direction.
