ALBANY, N.Y. – SEFCU Insurance Agency, a wholly owned CUSO of SEFCU, yesterday said it has acquired Schoharie Valley Agencies Inc., expanding its reach in local markets.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Last fall, SEFCU Insurance acquired Colonial Insurance Agency, making it the sixth-largest insurance agency in the Albany region.
SEFCU is one of the 70 largest credit unions in the U.S. with more than $1.4 billion in assets and more than 160,000 members in the Capital Region, Binghamton, Syracuse, and Buffalo.
