BankAtlantic continues to market a "Switch A Thon is On" campaign that gives new account owners a $77 MasterCard gift card after switching from another financial institution. The bank also offered up to $25 for unused checks, free checks and even threw in a milkshake maker. BankAtlantic offers its customers seven different types of checking accounts and has 79 locations. The campaign is aimed at highlighting the bank's seven-days-per-week operating hours. New account-holders are required to maintain an account for 77 days in order to get the premiums.
