YUBA CITY, Calif. – The Yuba City Council this week approved a plan by Sierra Central CU for an eight-acre headquarters project that would develop three buildings totaling 132,600-square-feet over three phases.
The development would consolidate five administrative sites for the $650-million credit union. The first phase would accommodate at least five years of growth before the second phase is considered.
The project is proposed to have three buildings of 53,600, 42,000 and 37,000 square feet at completion.
The credit union added electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle parking areas to comply with the city’s new green building code. Construction could begin in summer 2013.
