RENO, Nev. – Silver State Schools CU gave away $30,000 cash to students and teachers at University of Nevada over two months as part of the grand opening of its new on-campus branch.
Ten student each received $2,000 in the "Win a Semester's Tuition," and 10 faculty/staff members each won $1,000 in the "Win $1,000 Mad Money" promotions.
Silver State Schools Credit Union has more than $1 billion in assets and operates 21 branches in the state, including three in Reno.
