LEOMINSTER, Mass. -- Former chairman of the board Edward Mazzaferro was presented a special chair with his name and credit union logo engraved on it as part of a ceremony naming him an honorary director. Mazzaferro, who served on the board for 12 years, including two as chairman, succeeded his father, Aldo Mazzaferro, one of the 52-year-old credit union's founder. The younger Mazzaferro is president of First Plastics Corp., of Leominster.
