The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office released photos of the men Monday and asked for public assistance to identify them. The first case was reported June 28, police said.

Authorities say financial institutions in Commerce Township, West Bloomfield, Livonia, Ferndale, Westland, Novi and Wixom have suffered losses.

The five men and a car identified as a 2010 blue Ford Fusion are seen in surveillance photos provided to the public to help identify the suspects.
