VALDOSTA, Ga. – Southeastern FCU on Friday broke ground on a new headquarters and branch office project that will provide the $100 million credit union with 25,000 square feet of space.

The project is being built on a 2.8-acre plot and is expected to be completed later this year. The contractor is Consultants and Builders Inc., of Duluth, Ga., which specializes in designing and building financial institutions.
The 55-year-old credit union serves residents in 10 surrounding counties.
