SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Teachers CU opened a new branch in Moran Prairie and has acquired land for an additional branch downtown.

The 4,096-square-foot Moran Prairie branch includes several green features, including solar panels, employee showers (to encourage alternative commute options) and construction materials that were mostly mined or produced within 500 miles of Spokane.
The STCU Financial Center will be among the $1.6-billion credit union’s most prominent properties, both in terms of size and visibility, and will be a hub for many of the credit union’s lending operations and more. The site also will include a full-service branch, with easy access and visibility from I-90.
Completion is expected in late 2013 or early 2014.
