CHARLESTON, W.V. – Star USA FCU donated $70,000 to the Kanawha County School Board to finance the resufracing of the running track at the University of Charleston's Stadium Laidley Field.
The funding will help keep the state high school track meet in Charleston through at least 2014.
Work on the track will begin early next year and will be completed before the opening of the track and field season.
The top five banks and thrifts had combined assets of more than $13 trillion as of December 31, 2023.

The two regional banks are anticipating that borrower demand will increase in the back half of the year. High interest rates and economic uncertainty have been muting the appetite for borrowing.
