State Association Seeking To ‘Go Green’ With New Headquarters

ARVADA, Colo. - With plans to move to a new headquarters later this year, the Credit Union Associations of Colorado and Wyoming (CUAC/CUAW) said it is making an effort to “go green” and is recycling many of its old electronic technology and computer equipment. The Association cited EPA data showing that used electronics lead to the dumping of materials that include lead, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic. Partnering with Luminous Recycling, CUAC/CUAW has been gathering old computers, printers, typewriters, scanners, cell phones, and keyboards for proper recycling.
