MIAMI – A suspect in yesterday morning’s armed robbery at Dade County FCU led police on a high-speed chase from Miami-Dade County to Broward County, then back before police arrested him yesterday with all of the $7,500 in stolen credit union cash.
The suspect, identified as Terrence Clark, 31, entered the credit union around 9:30 am brandishing a large stick and demanded money from the teller. The teller complied and Clark fled the credit union in a black Dodge Charger, according to police.
An alert was sent out and officers from the Northwest District spotted a vehicle matching the description. The officers tried to make a traffic stop, but the driver refused to stop.
A 10-minute chase took police to Broward County and then back into Miami-Dade, where the driver came to a stop at Northwest 191st Street and 27th Avenue and was arrested.
