Suffolk FCU Sponsors 'CyberLounge' On Campus

The $475-million Suffolk FCU has opened a "CyberLounge" at the Michael J. Grant campus of Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) in Brentwood, NY.

The facility, incorporated into a new student lounge, includes six individual terminals offering free high-speed Internet access and a color laser printer for downloading research, graphics, and web pages. The CyberLounge is available free to students, faculty and administrators. It is open during regular campus hours and is supervised by personnel from the Medford, N.Y.-based Suffolk FCU.

"In addition to creating CyberLounge, we are engaged in creating an educational forum for student instruction in personal finances, that will be part of freshman orientation," said SFCU CEO Edward Boughal.
