TAMPA, Fla. – Suncoast Schools FCU, a credit union giant that teetered during the financial crisis, is putting its stamp on a financial rebound with plans to open a new branch this week, one of two for the coming months.
As part of the opening of the west Tampa branch, the $5-billion credit union’s 51st service facility, Suncoast will pay $5 into the first 25 new accounts opened there.
The branch is the first opened by Florida’s biggest credit union in five years.
