ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Suncoast Schools FCU opened a new branch in the low-income neighborhood of south St. Petersburg Friday, the latest in an effort by the state’s largest credit union to reach the underserved market. City officials have been working with area banks and credit unions to get them to locate facilities in in midtown as part of its revitalization.
