The Fort Myers branch is expected to use half the electricity of the credit union’s other branches. It will feature LED lighting, high-efficiency windows and insulation, geothermal air conditioning and heating, and 40-kilowatt solar power panels.

The branch will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 31. New members at the Fort Myers branch will receive $20 toward an account. All new and existing members will be entered into a drawing to win one of two iPads.
