TAMPA, Fla. – Suncoast Schools FCU said this morning it replaced 94 of its ATMs with advanced automation Diebold Opteva ATMs featuring rapid processing technology and Agilis 3, Diebold's newest, multi-vendor software solution.
The $5 billion credit union also replaced 104 of its cash dispensers with Diebold machines featuring advanced anti-skimming detection technology.
"Suncoast has been aggressive in adopting new technologies that benefit our members," said Wanda Chambers, vice president, document services, for Florida’s largest credit union.
Running Agilis 3 software, the new Opteva ATMs give members more control over deposit transactions through an intuitive interface that displays deposit information for verification, enable check image scrolling instead of single views and print deposit details on receipts. In addition, through the deployment of rapid processing technology, the new ATMs process transactions faster, clear routine jams more easily to maximize ATM uptime and accept more checks at one time.
Rapid processing technology shortens the total transaction time for a cash and check deposit by performing tasks in parallel. Diebold's current deposit automation technology delivers the industry's fastest transaction time, accepting deposits of up to 30 bank notes and 10 checks in less than 60 seconds.
