KINGSTON, Ore. – A former Marine pleaded guilty to six area armed robberies this week, including the heist at Cross Valley FCU in nearby Forty Fort.
Adam Verdekal, 28, who told authorities he had a heroin addiction, was charged with two counts of robbery and one count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
Among the six hold-ups were three separate robberies at Honesdale National Bank in Kingston.
