HENDERSON, Ky. A man charged with last week’s robbery at Green River FCU is believed to be responsible for a July holdup at the same credit union and as many as eight other robberies.
James Morris, 53, allegedly walked into the credit union last Thursday morning and demanded money. He told employees that he had a gun, but did not show a weapon, according to police.
In addition to Thursday’s robbery at the credit union, Morris was charged with two robberies at the Integra Bank branch in Poole, Ky., August robberies at Independence Bank and the Bank of Henderson, a 2011 holdup at U.S. Bank, a 2007 robbery and a 2006 robbery at U.S. Bank, and a 2006 heist at Old National Bank.
