SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The man suspected of robbing Placer Community CU in Grass Valley last month, and as many as four other credit unions and banks, was arrested after another bank robbery in Roseville. Jim Brian Smith, 26, was arrested Monday by the Roseville Police Department on suspicion of robbing of the US Bank branch on Fairway Drive in Roseville. Smith is also believed to be responsible for robberies at the Golden 1 CU in Lincoln, and robberies at the Bank of Lodi and Washington Mutual.
