CHICAGO - (04/17/06) An Indiana man and woman werecaptured by the FBI last week and charged with the January armedrobbery at Acme Continental CU, in nearby Riverdale, when $250,000was stolen. Charles Anderson, 28 of Hammond, Ind., and Asia Hill,22, of Gary, were arrested without incident in Calumet City by FBIagents and Riverside police. Police said the two entered the creditunion with guns blazing just after opening on Jan. 19 and forcedemployees to open the vault, from which they took more than$250,000 in cash. The fled in one of the employees cars.Plans for future hold-ups were found on Anderson when he wasarrested.
