Suspects Charged In FBISting

CLEVELAND - (05/24/05) -- Two men and a woman, suspected in asmany as 15 area robberies over the past eight months, were chargedwith last Thursday's armed robbery at Shaker Community CU, the FBIsaid Monday. The three, identified as Larry Claggett, 34,Abdul-Badee Bakeer, 33, and Carlessa Smith, 22, were arrested in asting operation by FBI agents posed as construction workers outsidethe credit union after the robbery, according to Robert Hawk,special agent for the FBI. "They robbed it, then we got them asthey left the credit union," Agent Hawk told The Credit UnionJournal. The three are expected to be charged with as many as sevenrobberies over the enxt few weeks, he said.
