Synergent Signs Image Storage Deal With Caringo

AUGUSTA, Maine – Synergent said yesterday it has contracted with Caringo Inc. to provide it with management and protection of hundreds of millions of check images and transaction receipts generated by credit union members.

Synergent will use the company’s object storage software, called CAStor, to store hundreds of millions of transaction receipts and check images from its 200 credit union customers.

Caringo said its CAStor software enables massive scalability and future-proof accessibility of unstructured data.
