AOS Technologies, Inc., a unit of Fujitsu, has introduced an Intensive Remote Monitoring system that will increase safety at ATMs by feeding live security camera footage to the police or other law enforcement agencies. The remote feed will result in quicker response time to robberies, assaults or other incidents. The new system will also replace the old video cameras with detailed digital images stored on disks. The system will be available in the U.S. by the end of the year.
