T8 Webware Launches Card Personalization Via Apple iPad

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – T8 Webware said yesterday it is offering new mobile capabilities for its card personalization software over Apple’s iPad.

Credit unions now can target local consumers and instantly issue cards with meaningful photo images via the second-generation iPad’s built in camera, or a camera attachment, the company said. The added mobility grants the ability to take pictures and develop cards on scene at sporting events, school functions and community festivities – relatively any milestone that a customer or member would want to remember. It also enables credit unions to create photo identification for cards at any convenient location.

The company’s Cre8 My Card allows users to personalize their cards using images from personal computers, a financial institution’s pre-determined stock photo gallery, or even social networking and photo-sharing sites.
