TAUNTON, Mass. – Taunton FCU plans to open a branch inside Trucchi’s Supermarkets’ new Middleborough store early next year.
The store will be the first Trucchi’s to include a credit union or bank branch and the first Taunton Federal branch inside a grocery store.
The $135-million credit union has a longstanding business relationship with the local supermarket chain.
The Florida bank plans to buy Villages Bancorp for $710.8 million, marking its second in-state acquisition of 2025.
