TCUF Pays Out $360K In 58 Grants During 2007

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - The Texas Credit Union Foundation (TCUF) reported it distributed $360,423 in grants during 2007. Among the 58 separate grants were $27,000 for the Texas league’s (TCUL) REAL Solutions initiative; $25,000 for BizKid$ Financial Education Series on PBS; $28,000 for six Junior Achievement partnerships with credit unions in Abilene, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Longview and Tyle, and $25,000 to the El Paso Affordable Housing CUSO; (c) 2008 The Credit Union Journal and SourceMedia, Inc.
