MINNEAPOLIS – Teacher FCU, the state’s fifth largest credit union, announced it is changing its name to TruStone Financial FCU in June 1, as part of a rebranding to expand membership.

The new name, developed with Bloomington-based Strategic Name Development Inc., is designed to be said as "true stone," though it also spells "trust one."
The $615 million credit union also plans to build three full-service branches in the coming year, including one opening next month in Maple Grove.
