Teachers Credit Union in Indiana names new CEO

Teachers Credit Union in South Bend, Indiana, has named Jason Osterhage as its new president and chief executive.

The $4.5 billion-asset credit union announced that Osterhage, who joins TCU after being executive vice president and chief operating officer of the $4.5 billion-asset Texas Dow Employees Credit Union in Lake Jackson, Texas, began his new roles this week. He takes over for Waylon Peterson, who had been interim president and CEO since Paul Marsh unexpectedly stepped down in March of last year.

“Throughout his career, Jason has accumulated valuable expertise that applies to all facets of our organization, and we’re excited to see the new perspective he will bring to the credit union,” Vincent Henderson, chairman of the TCU board, said in a press release Tuesday.

Osterhage has also held senior leadership roles at the $9 billion-asset Delta Community Credit Union in Atlanta and the $15.2 billion-asset Alliant Credit Union in Chicago.
